When I was a kid, it felt completely natural for me to be surrounded by boys. That’s probably why I still find myself understanding the way men think—or simply finding it interesting.
These days, though, that world feels very far away. In fact, people sometimes assume I must have grown up reading tons of shōjo manga because I come across as someone who’s very much part of the female world.
It can be confusing for me, too.
Sometimes the other person just looks at me like, “Huh?” and we end up talking past each other.
It’s funny how people can misunderstand each other like that.
It’s a little frustrating sometimes.
